Yi graduated from a 2200-hr massage therapy program in 2018 in Edmonton, and completed a traditional Chinese massage (Tuina), fire cupping, Guasha (scraping) and Chinese foot reflexology program. She also has acquired training in hot jade stone massage, myofascial cupping massage and pregnancy massage.
